INTRODUCTION

Our History

Regarding the development of our society and increased income along with the improvement of Taiwanese economic conditions, people began to value the importance of quality of life. The significance of personal image accelerated the growth of beauty industry. Hence the increasing demand for cosmetology professionals. In 1994, HungKuang established the Department of Beauty Care. Developing the talents to meet the demand of upgrading cosmetic professional standard. In 1995, the department was renamed as the Department of Applied Cosmetology and Management. The continuing education enrolled for the first time in the following year. In 2004, the Department of Applied Cosmetology was renamed due to the course modification. Master program was offered since 2007. In 2015, a Two-Year program for working professionals was added to the department.

 

 

 

CURRICULUM

Ethics and Objectives

We develop talents based on the school motto — “Begin from oneself and extend benevolence towards all.” Nurturing students to become professionals with cosmetology knowledge and aesthetic views in the beauty industry. Opportunities for the graduates including: joining the beauty enterprises, working as beauticians, beauty lecturers, and hair and makeup artists. Engaged in the marketing and management of cosmetics. Involved in the research and development at cosmetics factory. Setting up their own beauty salons or studios. Enrolled in a related department in universities or continuing their study at postgraduate programs.
